Refunds are only issued If you have received a damaged item or if we have described an item incorrectly. Please note, the vast majority of our items are second hand and will have general wear and tear. We describe any major faults or issues in our listings, therefore a refund will only be approved if we have failed to describe a major fault or issue with the item. Photos form part of our descriptions, so please check out all the images in our listings. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order to submit a refund request. 

As we provide accurate descriptions, measurements and images of our products; we do not offer refunds for an item that does not fit or if you have changed your mind. If you would like further measurements or photos of any of our products, please contact us, we are always happy to help!

If you would like to return your item(s), please contact us to submit a return request within 14 days of receiving your order. Returns must be received at our Brunswick store within 14 days of the return request being approved. Returns will not be accepted outside of this time frame. All shipping costs for a return are to be paid for by the buyer.

Once we have received your return, we will issue you a voucher code (valid for 12 months) to the value of the returned item(s). We do not offer refunds for change of mind - please see above for our Refunds Policy. Unfortunately we are unable to cover the initial or subsequent cost of shipping (unless the the fault is ours).

All returned items must be in the same original condition as when they left our stores; and are subject to inspection before the voucher code is issued.

Melbourne Vintage cannot be held liable for any returns lost in transit. We recommend using a trackable postal service for your return.

Returns can be taken directly to our stores, in person, once the return request has been approved. We are unable to initiate or process a return request at our stores - this must be submitted by email.

Please note: we do not offer returns for sale items, gift cards or earrings.



All orders are shipped within 48 hours of being received, but usually they are out the door within a couple of hours! We offer free standard shipping on all orders over $100 within Australia. For faster shipping, express post can be chosen at check out. Express post prices apply.

We use multiple methods of delivery / shipping, depending on your location:

   - direct delivery by us if you are local

   - shipping with Australia Post or courier 

Once your order has left our store, we will notify you by email with details of the delivery method. The tracking number and courier details will be provided if your order was shipped.

Melbourne Vintage is not liable for any lost packages, damaged caused in transit or orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the buyer.

Unfortunately, we cannot include any shipping costs (initial or subsequent) to the value of the special code issued for any returns.
